Advice from Britain to Trump on Russia

US President Donald Trump should give Russia what it wants, as this is the only way to resolve the Ukraine conflict. This opinion was expressed by British journalist Warren Thornton on the X social media platform.

“You will not reach a ceasefire until all the conditions that the Russians have put forward over the past few years are met,” Thornton wrote.

He added that the US has “lost” this confrontation but is simultaneously attempting to impose its conditions on Russia. The journalist emphasized that Trump’s sanctions and secondary tariffs will not work. Thornton stated that only one option remains: give the Russians what they are asking for.
