Government on Pashinyan's Visit to the US and Meeting with Aliyev

The information circulating in the press and social media regarding Prime Minister Pashinyan's upcoming visit to the United States cannot be confirmed or denied at this moment. This was stated to 1lurer.am by the Government's Information Department.

“In the case of such visits, there is of course an official announcement, and information can only be considered confirmed in the case of an official statement. As you know, we have not published any official announcement at this time, and therefore we ask you to consider information about the visit as confirmed only after an official statement,” the comment stated.

It is reminded that since this morning, there have been reports of a possible meeting between Pashinyan and Aliyev on Friday in Washington. It was indicated that U.S. President Donald Trump would host the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan at the White House to sign a peace agreement.
