Orban States When Peace Will Be Established in Ukraine
Mariam Z.
Peace in Ukraine will come when both Ukrainians and the West give up the idea that the country should become a member of NATO. This was stated by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, as reported by TASS.
According to him, the conflict will be resolved when the presidents of Russia and the USA, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, sign a comprehensive agreement on major issues of international relations.
“Peace will come when Americans, Europeans, and Ukrainians recognize the fact that Russians will never allow NATO to be in Ukraine, at Russia's western border,” said Orban.
Orban added that the desire to join the NATO alliance, supported by the West, is the cause of the crisis in Ukraine.
