The So-Called "Zangezur Corridor" Will Soon Be Opened, Says Turkey's Ambassador in Baku

Turkey's ambassador in Baku has stated that the so-called "Zangezur Corridor" will soon be opened.

With the signing of the peace agreement between Baku and Yerevan, the so-called "Zangezur Corridor" is expected to become operational within the next 1-2 years, said Turkey's ambassador to Baku, Birol Akgün.

"I believe and look forward to this, particularly in terms of securing the so-called 'Zangezur Corridor' and increasing trade in the East-West direction," Akgün told APA.

Akgün emphasized that this is a process with many participants, but first and foremost, a decision must be made by Azerbaijan and Armenia.
