Azerbaijan is Our Home: Iranians' Improper Relations with Azerbaijan are Our Fault, Pezeshkian

“Azerbaijan is our home, and if the connections are not established, it is our own fault,” said Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian during a visit to Zanjan.

During this visit, the President responded to criticisms regarding his recent trip to Azerbaijan. “Azerbaijan is our home. How could it be that I haven’t gone there and reached certain agreements? We cannot establish connections, but Israel can. We need to see where the problem is that we cannot establish proper and friendly relations,” stated Masoud Pezeshkian.

He emphasized that if relationships between the two countries are not being established, Tehran is responsible for that.
