Russia Aims to Seize Moldova, Says Moldovan President
The President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, has stated that Russia is preparing to intervene in the parliamentary elections to gain control of the country. The elections are scheduled for September.
The Kremlin is investing in political projects supported by fugitive oligarch Ilan Shor, who aims to bring his supporters into parliament.
Sandu insists that Moscow plans to use methods such as bribery, illegal cryptocurrency financing, paid protests, and cyberattacks on the country's infrastructure.
