Protest Held in the U.S. Demanding Aid for Gaza
Dozens of rabbis have been arrested in the U.S. while demanding aid for Gaza. In Washington, 27 rabbis were detained in the office of Senate Majority Leader John Thune, calling for immediate humanitarian aid to the region.
The protesters entered the senator's office from South Dakota, holding signs that read "Rabbis say: Protect Life" and "Rabbis say: End the Blockade" while conducting a sit-in. Following the demonstration, Capitol Police arrested all participants.
