Property Seizure Demanded from Former Advisor to the Minister of Emergency Situations
The Anti-Corruption Court has accepted a new lawsuit from the Prosecutor General's Office regarding the seizure of property of illegal origin.
The Property Seizure Department of the Prosecutor General's Office has filed a demand with the court to seize from Ashot Hakobyan, the former advisor to the Minister of Emergency Situations of Armenia, as well as from affiliated individuals, the following in favor of the Republic of Armenia:
- 2 real estate properties located in Yerevan,
- 2 vehicles,
- 124 million 570 thousand drams as the remaining illegal monetary assets, and
- 79 million 540 thousand drams, which cannot be justified by the individual's legal income and has illegal origins, cannot be transferred to a good-faith acquirer or cannot be identified and seized.
