Moscow to Take Measures Against Sanctions, Says Zakharova

Russia sees that the West cannot seem to "detach" itself from the topic of sanctions, and Moscow is taking measures to counter them, stated Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as reported by TASS.

“We see that the West simply cannot give up on the issue of sanctions. It seems that they are being continuously extended. Apparently, there are no other options left—those have been destroyed. At the same time, we are responding and taking measures to resist this or even to redirect it toward our own interests, to utilize it,” said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

As Zakharova noted, there is no doubt that the imposition of anti-Russian sanctions is also hitting the global economy.
