Drone Ingress from Iran to Azerbaijan Prevented
The entry of an unmanned aerial vehicle from the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran into Azerbaijan has been prevented.
This information was reported by the press center of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan.
According to the service, as a result of reconnaissance and operational measures carried out in the service area of the "Horadiz" border detachment, the transportation of a large quantity of narcotics from the Islamic Republic of Iran to the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan via drone was thwarted.
It has been reported that during searches in the border area, 12 kilograms of marijuana and 399 methadone M-40 pills, which contained narcotic substances, were discovered and seized.
Operational-investigative measures are ongoing regarding this incident.
