Court Rules House Search of Samvel Karapetyan as Illegal

The criminal court has recorded a violation of Samvel Karapetyan's rights, declaring that the search of his house was illegal.

It should be noted that on his Facebook page, Karapetyan's lawyer, Lianna Gasparyan, wrote that the house search of Samvel Karapetyan was conducted unlawfully based on a court ruling.

"On June 18, 2025, the court of first instance, led by judge Artak Karapetyan, issued a decision to permit the search of Samvel Karapetyan's apartment. However, a Special Review appeal against this decision has been granted, resulting in the RA Court of Appeal recording a violation of Samvel Karapetyan's rights. This clearly confirms that there was an absence of sufficient factual basis to obtain a permit for the search, which resulted in the search of Samvel Karapetyan's apartment being overtly illegal," she noted.
