Arrest Warrant Issued for Azerbaijani Diaspora Leader in Yekaterinburg

An arrest warrant has been issued for Shahin Shikhlinski, the leader of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Yekaterinburg. The reason for the warrant stems from a criminal article, according to the database of the regional department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

However, the specific article of the criminal code under which he is wanted has not been disclosed. It is worth noting that Shikhlinski was previously detained on July 1 but was later released.

During his arrest, his son, Mutvali Shikhlinski, resisted by knocking a law enforcement officer to the ground. As a result, on July 16, Mutvali Shikhlinski was remanded in custody for two months for using violence against a representative of the authorities.
