Administrative Sanctions Imposed on Ijevan and Masis Community Leaders
The Anti-Corruption Commission has imposed administrative sanctions on Ijevan community leader Arthur Jagharyan and Masis community leader Davit Hambardzumyan, based on reports of conflicts of interest.
According to the commission's decision, the community leaders have been fined 300,000 drams each.
It should be noted that 'Infocom' had previously revealed that the Ijevan municipality had made purchases exceeding 275 million drams from companies related to council members. Meanwhile, the Masis municipality had made purchases exceeding 384 million drams from a company owned by a council member's father and son.
