Wastewater flows from damaged manhole, reaching 'Friendship' metro

Today, an emergency situation has arisen in the Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan. Due to the damage of a manhole used for sewage dating back to Soviet times on Hrachya Kochar Street, wastewater is spilling out and flowing towards Papazyan Street, even reaching the Friendship metro station.

For several hours now, special equipment has been deployed to begin the replacement of the old damaged sewage pipe, but the flow of wastewater continues, creating a foul odor throughout the area.
