Trump Gives Russia 10-12 Days to Reach Peace with Ukraine
U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that he is giving Russia a timeline of 10 to 12 days to achieve a resolution to the Russia-Ukraine conflict. This information was reported by Sky News.
During a meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Trump expressed his disappointment with Russian leader Vladimir Putin and indicated that he is shortening the 50-day deadline previously given to resolve the conflict.
When journalists sought clarification on the new timeline, Trump responded, “I will set a new deadline of 10 or 12 days starting from today,” adding that he would make an official announcement either today or tomorrow.
“There’s no reason to wait… We are not seeing any progress,” the president added.
On July 14, Trump had issued an ultimatum to Russia, stating that if the Russia-Ukraine conflict is not resolved within 50 days, secondary tariffs would be imposed on Moscow. This means tariffs would be extended to Russia’s trade partners.
