I Am Very Disappointed in Putin and I Plan to Shorten Those 50 Days
U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that he intends to shorten the previously set 50-day timeline for reaching a ceasefire agreement in Ukraine. “I will shorten that 50 days because I think I already know the answer and what is going to happen,” Trump told reporters in Scotland before meeting with British Prime Minister Starmer.
It is worth recalling that U.S. President Donald Trump had stated that if Russia does not reach an agreement to halt the war in Ukraine within 50 days, Washington would impose “very harsh” tariffs on Moscow and its trading partners. In the Oval Office, during a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, the U.S. president specified that tariffs could be as high as 100 percent.
