How Can I Buy HETC? Leave Me Alone, Grigor Ter-Ghazaryan

“Everyone is spreading the news they want today, and at least for me, it’s creating an incomprehensible hype,” said Grigor Ter-Ghazaryan, owner of GTB Holdings, in an interview with Tert.am in response to questions about removing a post on his Facebook page that denied his intention to buy HETC. He noted that rumors are circulating that he is the future owner of HETC. Ter-Ghazaryan did not provide any further comments.

Earlier, Grigor Ter-Ghazaryan made a Facebook post addressing the circulating news. “Friends, HETC currently belongs to the ‘Tashir’ company, where the state has appointed a manager and certain processes are taking place. Now the question is: how can I buy it? Please leave me/us alone,” Ter-Ghazaryan wrote.

It’s worth noting that the deputy director of the holding, Tehmine Vardanyan, only denied GTB Holdings’ involvement in negotiations regarding the purchase of HETC. “GTB Holdings is not involved in any negotiations, I officially state this, but whether Grigor Ter-Ghazaryan is having separate meetings, discussions, or negotiations, I cannot say anything about that because it is not the case that GTB Holdings is the only field of activity for Grigor Ter-Ghazaryan; I do not rule it out,” said Tehmine Vardanyan.

Later, Ter-Ghazaryan posted on Facebook emphasizing, “I am neither planning to acquire shares of HETC nor do I have any connection with HETC at all.” However, Grigor Ter-Ghazaryan has since deleted the post from his Facebook page.
