Europe to Replace Russian Gas with American Gas

Europe will replace Russian gas with American gas, announced the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.

“The EU will abandon Russian energy sources and replace them with significant purchases of American LNG,” she stated.

Following the meeting between US President Donald Trump and von der Leyen, the EU committed to purchasing $750 billion worth of energy from the US over the next three years.
