Azerbaijani Tankers Accused of Selling Russian Sanctioned Oil
Three more Azerbaijani oil tankers have been accused of selling Russian sanctioned oil. In the latest list of sanctions vessels published by the European Union, 105 oil tankers from third countries have been identified. The EU considers these vessels to be part of Russia's so-called "shadow fleet," through which Moscow continues to sell its oil to Europe.
The list includes three Azerbaijani tankers. It is also noted that recently, Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev publicly supported Ukraine, while his country has also been openly disputing with Russia.
