Trump Was Ready to Offer Putin Five Ukrainian Regions, Says Austrian Foreign Minister

Austrian Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger has stated that U.S. President Donald Trump offered Russian President Vladimir Putin Crimea and several eastern Ukrainian regions, as well as the removal of Kyiv from NATO. However, she noted that this did not deter the Kremlin.

“Trump presented Crimea and several regions to Putin on a silver platter, while also excluding Ukraine’s accession to NATO,” she said in an interview with Welt.
