NATO Countries to Receive Military Equipment from Washington, Trump
NATO countries will receive military equipment from Washington that they will be able to manage at their discretion. This was stated by U.S. President Donald Trump during a meeting with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, in Scotland.
He noted that this has become possible after NATO countries agreed to spend 5% of their budget on defense, instead of the previously established 2%. Trump also suggested that the military and other equipment sent will likely be transferred to Ukraine.
