Georgians Attack Russian Athletes and Burn Russian Flag
Georgians have attacked Russian athletes. The Russian athletes had arrived in Tbilisi to participate in the World Fencing Championships. That night, local activists staged a provocation outside the hotel where the athletes were staying, setting off fireworks and injuring the competitors. Another group burned and trampled the Russian flag.
