Trump: Putin-Zelensky Meeting Should Have Happened Three Months Ago
US President Donald Trump has stated that Europe will disappear without strict immigration control. He emphasized that unrestricted immigration must be halted immediately, or Europe will cease to exist.
Trump spoke about the upcoming meeting between Russian President Putin and Ukrainian President Zelensky: "It will take place. It should have happened three months ago, but it will still happen." He will discuss the cessation of war in Ukraine with European leaders in Scotland. The halt of the war between Ukraine and Russia will be one of the key themes of Trump's visit to Scotland, as reported by The Guardian.
During his private visit, the US President will hold meetings with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. Prior to departing from Washington, Trump announced that he is considering the possibility of imposing additional sanctions against Russia in connection with the war in Ukraine.
He also estimated the likelihood of a deal with the European Union at 50 percent. "Today I will meet with representatives of the European Union, and we will work on an agreement. I do not want to say what the contentious points are, but they may concern 20 different issues," the White House leader explained. According to him, it will be the largest deal if it is finalized.
