Peskov on the Meeting between Putin and Zelensky
The meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is unlikely to take place before the end of August. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia.
According to him, such a meeting should put an end to the conflict resolution by recording agreements, whereas currently, the positions of Moscow and Kyiv are diametrically opposed.
It is worth recalling that Zelensky has stated that Ukrainians desire an end to the war, and in his opinion, this process begins with a meeting between the leaders of Ukraine and Russia.
