Palestinian State Will Serve to Annihilate Israel: Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned French President Emmanuel Macron for recognizing the state of Palestine, calling the decision "encouragement of terrorism."

“We strongly condemn President Macron’s decision to recognize the state of Palestine alongside Tel Aviv following the tragedy of October 7. Such a step encourages terrorism and threatens to create another Iranian proxy, similar to what was established in Gaza. Under these conditions, the Palestinian state will serve as a launchpad to annihilate Israel, rather than a platform for living peacefully alongside it. Let’s be clear: the Palestinians do not want a state alongside Israel; they want a state in place of Israel,” he said.
