Our Internal Matter: Our People Will Decide Whether to Have a New Constitution or Not, Galyan

It has not been announced that the amendment of the Constitution or the choice of a new Constitution will take place through a referendum before the elections. This was stated by Armenia's Minister of Justice Surbuhie Galyan during a conversation with journalists.

“We must do everything and work towards having a new text of the Constitution ready by the elections in 2026,” she said.

Galyan considered it inappropriate to link constitutional changes to any external factors at any time. “This is our internal matter, our people will decide whether they want a new Constitution or not,” she emphasized.
