British Company Begins Operations at Occupied Artsakh's Kashen Mine
The British Anglo Asian Mining mining company has commenced extraction from the occupied Kashen copper-molybdenum deposit in Artsakh, according to Hetq.
Registered in Great Britain, Anglo Asian Mining received three new mining areas from Azerbaijan on July 5, 2022, just five months before the end of the blockade. The new areas are named Qargarr, Qaradagh, and Demirli.
In December 2022, when Azerbaijani fake eco-activists, who were controlled by Aliyev, blocked the Goris-Stepanakert road at the village of Karin Tak and demanded the monitoring of the Kashen mine under the guise of environmental purposes.
