Azerbaijan's Role in Developing Relations with Israel Underestimated

Azerbaijan has become an important partner for Israel even before the Abraham Accords. This was stated by the former U.S. ambassador to Israel. He declared that Azerbaijan's role in the development of relations with Israel is underestimated, emphasizing its significance as a strategic partner and a cultural bridge between Israel and Muslim countries.

While addressing hearings in the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee dedicated to the situation in the Middle East, the ambassador noted that Azerbaijan has become one of the first Muslim countries to normalize relations with Israel prior to the signing of the Abraham Accords.
