Ukraine Will Not Receive Trump’s Promised Patriot Systems Until 2026

Ukraine will not receive the Patriot systems promised by U.S. President Donald Trump until the spring of 2026. This was reported by the Spiegel magazine.

According to the publication, the U.S. is proposing a temporary exchange scheme to NATO allies, where European countries that already possess missile batteries should transfer them to Ukraine now. In return, they will receive new systems as soon as the American RTX company manufactures updated models.

However, the issue is that RTX will not be able to provide the first such replacements any sooner than spring 2026.
