Pashinyan Explains Why He and Anna Hakobyan Are Not Officially Married

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, as part of the "Education is Fashionable" campaign, explained why he and Anna Hakobyan are not officially registered as married.

"Since I was engaged in opposition political activities in the 1990s, I knew that I would be taken, judged, and my property would be seized. I did not get married with the purpose of being able to protect my family. When we bought a house, it was registered in Anna's name, even though we acquired it together," said Pashinyan.
