Employees of the police who provided information to Baza TV channel arrested in Russia

In Russia, employees of the police who were providing official information to the Baza TV channel have been arrested. What transpired at the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has already been labeled a "scheme", with reports of the arrest of police officers from the Belgorod region, as well as from Krasnodar and Krasnoyarsk territories.

Media outlets have reported that the editor-in-chief and five employees of the publication have been detained. Earlier, investigators from the Russian Investigative Committee arrested the editor-in-chief of the Baza TV channel's newspaper, Gleb Trifonov, in connection with a previously opened case regarding the abuse of power by police employees.

In a video, law enforcement officers can be seen removing boxes with documents from the editorial office.
