New Regulations in Effect from July 1 Announced by the State Revenue Committee

The State Revenue Committee reminds that due to amendments and modifications in the Tax Code of the Republic of Armenia, as of July 1 of this year, certain professionals and service providers will no longer operate under the turnover tax regime and will only function within the general taxation system.

This change pertains to the classifications of types of economic activities applicable in Armenia. Specifically, it affects those engaged in:

• M (EM) Professional, Scientific, and Technical Activities: 69. Legal and Accounting Activities
• 70. Activities of Head Offices; Management Consulting Services

• N (EN) Administrative and Support Activities: 78.2. Activities of Temporary Employment Agencies
• 78.3. Other Employment Activities

The Committee urges tax payers involved in these activities to submit a declaration through the electronic reporting system to be registered as VAT payers.
