Fires Continue in Occupied Artsakh: Unexploded Munitions Discovered

Fires continue to rage in the occupied Artsakh region, particularly in the areas of Aknagh and Martakert, following outbreaks yesterday evening. Unexploded munitions have been found in the fire zones, according to reports by the Azerbaijani news outlet Apa.az.

Forests and pastures near Aknagh and Martakert are ablaze, and the fire is spreading to adjacent areas. Fire brigade teams are working at the site.

It has been noted that the area's contamination with landmines and unexploded munitions complicates firefighting efforts and poses a threat to the firefighters.

Previously, Azerbaijani media reported that forests and pastures near Aghdam (Aknagh) and Martakert were burning.
