Accusations Against Baza’s Chief Editor for Bribery

The Investigative Committee has charged Gleb Trifonov, the chief editor of Baza, with large-scale bribery. This information was reported to TASS by law enforcement agencies.

Similar charges have also been brought against Baza's producer, Tatyana Lukyanova.

"Both individuals deny the charges related to this crime," stated a source from the agency.

The publication has also noted that the Investigative Committee intends to apply to the court for pre-trial detention of Trifonov and Lukyanova.

In the bribery case involving the chief editor of Baza, the amount involved is no more than 100 thousand rubles.

It is worth recalling that earlier reports indicated that law enforcement had also arrested police officers who were leaking official information to the Baza television channel.
