Zelensky Assigns Delegation for Negotiations with Russia

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has tasked the formation of a delegation for negotiations with Russia, which will once again be led by Rustem Umierov. Zelensky announced this on his Telegram channel.

The previous composition of the delegation was also headed by Umierov, who at that time held the position of Minister of Defense. However, he lost his position on July 16 when the entire government resigned. On July 18, Zelensky appointed Umierov as the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.
