Israeli Senior Official Visits Kyiv for First Time in One and a Half Years

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar has made an official visit to Kyiv, marking the first visit by a senior Israeli official to the city in one and a half years. During his trip, Saar is scheduled to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the head of Ukraine's Foreign Ministry, Andriy Sybiha.

According to Axios, citing journalist Barak Ravid, Saar has become the highest-ranking Israeli official to visit Ukraine since February 2023, when his predecessor, Cohen, made the trip to Kyiv.
