Foreigners Can Enter Russia Without Registering in ruID: Details

Foreigners can enter Russia without registering in the ruID system. This was reported to TASS by the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In response to the agency's inquiry, the ministry stated that the preliminary registration of foreigners in the ruID mobile application, which involves the submission of biometric data and completing an electronic application, is voluntary and does not serve as a denial of entry into the Russian Federation.
