Azerbaijan Transfers Evidence of Torture of Azerbaijanis in Yekaterinburg to Russian Investigative Committee

Azerbaijan has transferred evidence of the torture of two Azerbaijanis in Yekaterinburg to the Russian Investigative Committee. This was announced by Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev.

"We have initiated a criminal case regarding the violence against Azerbaijanis in Yekaterinburg. We maintain regular communications with the Russian side, and we have conducted forensic examinations with them. Unfortunately, it has become clear that these individuals died as a result of torture, beating, and severe bodily injuries," he stated.

The Russian Investigative Committee is conducting a separate investigation into these facts.
