Police Search for Missing Couple in Lake Sevan and Surrounding Forests
On July 19, the Armenian police received information that two citizens, a man and a woman, had set out on a rubber inflatable boat from the shore of Lake Sevan near the village of Tsapatagh at around 3:40 PM and had not returned for several hours. This was reported by shamshyan.
According to the news outlet, search operations have been conducted by rescue services within a 30 km radius in the forested areas along the shore.
The missing individuals are identified as 60-year-old Emil A. and 60-year-old Arev A., both residents of Yerevan and husband and wife.
Following the incident, documents have been processed by the Chambarak police station and forwarded to the Sevan investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
