Child Missing in Recreation Area: Search Efforts Ongoing for 2 Hours

On July 13, at 1:18 PM, the National Emergency Situations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received information that a child had gone missing in the "Bardineri Park" recreation area in the village of Getazat. A creek is also present nearby, prompting the need for rescue teams to assist in the search operations. This was reported to Aurora News by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Narek Sargsyan.

"Teams from the Emergency Situations Service and Police have arrived at the scene. Extensive search operations are underway," Sargsyan stated.

Shamshyan.com also reported that a large number of rescuers from the Ararat regional rescue department and a medical emergency team from the Artashat Medical Center have arrived.

The search efforts have already been continuing for 2 hours, with staff from the recreation area and numerous citizens who had come to enjoy their time at the resort actively participating in the search for the child.

The mother mentioned that they are residents of the Armavir region and that she had only taken her eyes off her daughter for 5 minutes before losing sight of her.

There is also an artificial pond in the recreation area, the water level of which has already been lowered, but nothing has been found there.
