Russia Strikes Ukraine Using Over 300 Drones and 30 Missiles, Casualties Confirmed
On the night of July 19, Russia launched a massive combined attack on Ukrainian territory. According to RBC Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated in his address that the adversary utilized more than 300 strike drones and over 30 different types of missiles.
The bombardments affected at least ten regions, resulting in casualties and injuries. Zelensky emphasized that the assault continued throughout the night, and the destruction of aerial targets is still ongoing, as some drones remain airborne.
He also reported that rescue operations are continuing following the attack. The affected regions include Donetsk, Kirovohrad, Dnipro, Sumy, Kherson, Volyn, Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv, Odesa, and Zhytomyr.
In Sumy, critical infrastructure was damaged, leaving thousands of families without electricity. Combined strikes were recorded in Shostka. In Odesa, a missile hit a residential building, injuring six people, including one child, and resulting in one death.
In Pavlohrad, the missile strikes damaged residential buildings and crucial infrastructure facilities. Rescue services are working at the sites of the attacks, and recovery efforts are underway.
