The Health Condition of Arrested ARF Member Andranik Chamikyan Deteriorates

The health condition of 18-year-old Andranik Chamikyan, who was arrested in connection with the "Strikeball" case, has deteriorated. This was reported by human rights defender Ruben Melikyan on his Facebook page.

It should be noted that Andranik Chamikyan, a member of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Youth Union (ARF HEY) was detained for two months. A so-called toy explosive, used in sports games, was discovered at his location. The ARF also released footage of strikeball games in March.

The young man is accused by law enforcement of allegedly preparing for terrorism. It was also previously reported that the homes of ARF members are being searched.
