Man Arrested for Towing Dog from Car

A video surfaced online showing a man towing a dog from his car, exhibiting cruel behavior towards the animal. This was reported on Facebook by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Narek Sargsyan.

“Officers from the Kotayk community police quickly identified the driver. The 62-year-old resident of Byureghavan was found, arrested, and taken along with the vehicle to the Ministry of Internal Affairs police department. Cruelty towards animals is a criminally punishable act, and each case will have legal consequences. Dear citizens, remember that animals are an essential part of our ecosystem. We encourage anyone witnessing cruelty towards animals to immediately contact the police. Let’s fight together against this inhumane phenomenon,” Sargsyan wrote.
