Evaluations Will Be Given: Vanetsyan on Karapetyan's New Political Force

I've repeatedly stated that while we cannot exclude street protests and the possibility of removing Nikol Pashinyan as soon as possible, we must also prepare for elections, because elections will eventually happen, and the government, with its administrative resources, will be ready for the elections, while the opposition, unfortunately, will not be ready if it does not prepare from now on.

This was stated by Arthur Vanetsyan, the former director of the NSS and the leader of the Homeland party, in a conversation with reporters.

According to Vanetsyan, any opposition force capable of leading and executing the removal of Nikol Pashinyan from power as soon as possible is welcome, and he stands beside that force. The president of the Homeland party refrains from initiating any movement at this time.

Regarding the new political force to be created by businessman and philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan, Arthur Vanetsyan stated that he cannot yet evaluate what kind of political figure Karapetyan is.

"I deeply regret that he is currently imprisoned; it is a shame for all of us that a prominent Armenian businessman and philanthropist is behind bars due to a fabricated criminal case. As for the formation of a political force, we have heard the statement, and we acknowledge it. A political force will be formed; we will see who is involved, and we will give our evaluations. As a philanthropist and businessman, I highly regard Samvel Karapetyan; as a political actor, I cannot yet provide any assessment," noted Vanetsyan.
