Mikael Serbazan and Garegin II Comment on Recent Events

Mikael Serbazan, accompanied by the Catholicos, emerged from the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. He noted that what is happening is an absolute injustice, but he will not hide behind his spiritual brothers.
“They have come after me, and I will go. I am not a threat to this country; the threat is sitting in the government. I am not a threat to this country, I have not been and will not be, but those who carry out the will of that madman have come and are threatening violence. I will go with them, and the clergy will follow me,” he stated.

The Catholicos spoke about their future actions.
“The Bishop will now go with our lawyer; we will go to the Mother See, gather there, hold our discussions and draw conclusions for our future actions. It is certain that we will exert every effort to ensure that justice prevails for our church, our clergy, and our country,” the Catholicos said.
