Director of Yerevan Water Users Company Dismissed Due to Ineffective Management

A meeting of the Council regulating the activities of water user companies and associations in the Republic of Armenia was held today. During the meeting, a decision was made to terminate the powers of the director of the Yerevan Water Users Company due to ineffective management.

We also discussed the annual results of the water user companies' activities for 2024 and current operational questions for 2025. Additionally, we considered other issues regarding how to make the management of water user companies more efficient.

“I have instructed the head of the Water Committee to conduct a study on the operations carried out at water user companies from 2020 to 2025,” wrote Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Davit Khudatyan on his social media page.
