Fire Breaks Out in Abovyan City, Rescuers Prevent Spread to House

On July 12, at 14:55, the Crisis Management Center of the Kotayk Regional Rescue Service received a call reporting a fire in one of the houses on Kotayk Street in Abovyan city.

Emergency teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional and Yerevan rescue departments dispatched two firefighting units and one water tanker to the scene.

The fire was contained by 15:30 and completely extinguished by 16:11. Approximately 100 wooden pallets and the roof (around 70 square meters) were burned. Firefighters prevented the spread of the fire to the house.
