Identity of 7 More Individuals Involved in Mass Disorder at the National Assembly Revealed

The identity of 7 more individuals involved in the mass disorders that took place in the administrative buildings of the Government and the National Assembly on November 10, 2020, has been revealed. This information was provided by the Investigative Committee of Armenia.

According to the report, the Main Investigation Department for Crimes Against the Constitutional Order and Public Security of the Investigative Committee is conducting an investigation into the organization of these disorders, participation therein, public calls aimed at violently overthrowing the constitutional order, and instances of coercing the National Assembly and the Government.

As a result of joint measures taken by the officers of the National Security Service, the identities of the additional individuals involved have been established. Based on the investigator's motion, decisions have been made by the supervising prosecutor to initiate criminal proceedings against them. The stated 7 individuals have been arrested.

Motions have been submitted to the court regarding the selection of administrative supervision as a preventive measure against the 7 individuals,” the statement said.
