What the Prime Minister of Armenia is doing is about division and enmity; this way peace cannot be achieved: Tatoyan

The former Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, made a post on his Facebook page stating: "The ultimate goal of the game initiated by the head of the Armenian government against the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church is, in essence, directed against Christianity. Yes, it is indeed beyond the issue of the Church's personnel; it has already gone beyond merely the level of the Armenian Church, no matter how much the leader of the ruling Civil Contract party and various MPs try to convince otherwise, it is clearer than ever."

He wrote that on May 22, Allahshukur Pashazadeh, the Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office, directly stated that "the Armenian Church poses a great threat to all neighboring countries in the region of Armenia, yet this statement has remained unanswered by the Prime Minister of Armenia or any state body or official. Instead, immediately after this statement, starting from May 29, the Prime Minister of Armenia has begun a severe campaign against the Church, accompanied by a wave of hatred and insults."

“Peace is the highest value for all of us; we want to live in a peaceful and secure country, but what the Prime Minister of Armenia is doing is about division, enmity, and persecution, and in this way, peace cannot be achieved; it only brings disaster, undermining our internal stability and the foundations of statehood, compromising security,” Tatoyan added.
