Investigative Committee Discovers Combat Grenade at Home of War Participant - ARF
The Investigative Committee of Armenia has discovered a combat grenade at the home of a participant in the wars of 2016 and 2020, as well as the 2022 military operations in Jermuk. This was reported by the Supreme Body of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF).
Previously, the public relations office of the ARF had released a photograph of a grenade-like object, reminding that it is designed for the tactical sport game known as strikeball, and emphasized that no illegal items were found during the searches at the homes of the federation members.
The Investigative Committee responded by declaring that during the conducted searches, a type “F1” combat grenade was seized, along with two electric detonators classified as ordnance. “No lawyer was involved in the defense of the rights of the war participant, and it was not possible to ensure the legal process of the investigative actions; one grenade was found in his house, which clearly indicates that it is impossible to carry out the terrorist acts attributed to the arrested individuals,” the statement read.
It is noteworthy that searches were conducted in the homes of ARF members early in the morning, resulting in the arrest of seven individuals who were taken to the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
